Feed families in Sudan – 24 Million are Food Insecure

Armed conflict has left half of Sudan’s population hungry and in need of aid, yet Sudan remains forgotten.

Over 190,000 people have fled to the Kassala region in East Sudan, where 67% of the population is severely food deprived.

GRF is delivering food parcels to families in Sudan. We have helped feed thousands since the war began. In 2023-24 alone, 11,000 people received food aid

What’s inside a food parcel?

Food parcels contain long-lasting items, each carefully selected to ensure nourishment, longevity and provide relief. Examples include rice, flour, sugar, canned goods and more. Items will vary, depending on location and availability at the time.

While we easily spend £50 on a fancy meal, for a family of 6, that same amount lets them eat nutritious food for weeks.
