The Plight: Over 20 million children in conflict zones are deprived of education, with Lebanon hosting the most significant number of refugee children due to the Syrian crisis. More than half of these young souls in Lebanon, aged 3-18, have never experienced the joy of learning, let alone attending school.

Our Solution: The READ Foundation's "School on a Bus" programme emerges as a beacon of hope amidst this crisis. Our mobile classroom buses travel between refugee camps in Beqaa, Lebanon, offering over 300 children aged 6-14 a chance at primary education each month. This initiative provides quality education and psychosocial support, nurturing these children in a safe environment.

How You Can Help: A contribution of £420 or a monthly instalment of £35 can support a child's education for an entire year. Remember, "The believer's shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity." (Tirmidhi).
