Access and affordability of basic health services, especially for women and children is one of the constant pressing issues plaguing the people of Northern Nigeria, rendering many from the disconnected rural communities facing rejection from hospitals and having to travel across state and country borders to obtain necessary treatment.

This issue, coupled with the need to establish institutions that uphold the due rights of the sisters has inspired An-Nadaa to establish a medical center dedicated to maternity and childcare services.

This Medical Center is a 2-storey health facility consisting of a pediatric ward, maternity ward, labor room, consulting rooms, ultrasound room, sterilization room, pharmacy, offices, and a laboratory.

The Medical Center is intended to provide quality healthcare for sisters and children irrespective of their economic status and condition.

The Project is developed under the direct supervision of Dr Ibrahim Nuhu Tahir, Associate Professor of Economics at the International Islamic University of Malaysia and under the consultation of Prof. Madya Dr. Ahmad Asmadi bin Yusof, Vice Dean of the Health and Medicine faculty, Universiti Pertahanan Malaysia.

The funds collected is specifically to build the X-Ray room and get the equipment needed.
