WHY SHOULD YOU HELP?

Salamu Alaikum,

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The one who cares for an orphan and myself will be together in Paradise like this,” and he held his two fingers together to illustrate.

Around the world, 153 million children, ranging from infants to teenagers, have lost one or both parents. Who would you be without your parents? The ones who nurtured you and raised you. Who taught you your deen and how to have faith in the All Mighty. Life goes a different way once your parents are no longer with you. But that doesn’t mean that your life should go downhill. You should become someone they should be proud of and someone that would be in the highest levels of Jannah inshAllah.

My experience in The Gambia, West Africa

I was blessed with the opportunity to go to The Gambia, West Africa with Penny Appeal USA and actually see the work they do to help these orphans. The community is designed to provide for the complete nurturing of each child through education, access to quality healthcare, and the love of a foster mother to tend to their emotional and psychological needs.

What does the OprhanKind Village include?

One complete home costs $50,000 USD . I'm joining forces with Penny Appeal USA to help fund the building of one home.

Each home includes:

- Houses 10 orphans

- Living room

- Dining room

- Kitchen

- Air conditioning

- 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms

OrphanKind Village:

- Health clinic

- Administrative building

- Play ground

- Mosque

- Education center

- Beautiful garden

Our program is designed to work with each child to monitor and improve their intellectual, psychological, emotional, and spiritual development. And by maintaining a culturally-sensitive approach, we can help each child stay connected with their local community and grow up to become prosperous individuals.

Raising a child is about more than providing food and shelter; it’s about providing nourishment for their entire well-being. Education is the great leveler. For the children in our Orphankind Village, education unlocks a brighter future. You are helping each and everyone of these orphans at promised bright future. So when we are all in our graves one day, our money will be continually used as Sadaqa Jariya and continue to give us and our family good deeds where it matters most.
