New floods in Pakistan have claimed at least 498 lives and injured over 700 since late June 2025, devastating families still recovering from the catastrophic 2022 floods. With more rain on the horizon, thousands are at risk. Human Appeal is on the ground providing critical aid such as food, clean water, and shelter to help communities cope and rebuild once again.

Since the 2022 floods, 1.8 million people are still living beside stagnant floodwater, putting them at risk of disease. Currently, 170,000 children are suffering from severe acute malnutrition, and 4.3 million workers have been affected as a result of the floods.

One-fifth of Pakistanis are undernourished, and nearly half of all children are stunted.

A violent cloudburst has unleashed catastrophic flash floods across Pakistan, sweeping away homes and villages. Hundreds have lost their lives, and thousands are injured or missing. More than 600,000 people have been displaced, forced to seek shelter in schools, makeshift camps, or under the open sky.
