Support the Rehabilitation Center in Sarmada

My name is Sarah Benamara, and I am reaching out with an exciting opportunity to give back this month! I would love for you to be part of my campaign in support of the Sarmada Rehabilitation Center in Syria.

The crisis in Syria is one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world right now. This campaign will help provide funding to retain doctors and nurses and the provision of medicines to this unit highlighted as priority needs in the health sector. The center provides treatment and rehabilitation sessions to recover people suffering from their war injuries in particular.

The Sarmada Rehabilitation Centre in Idleb is located in one of the most important health facilities in the north of Syria, because of its location in a safe area near the Turkish border. It is the first rehabilitation centre established in 2014 in North Idleb, which works on the rehabilitation of patients after surgery or preparation for surgical operation.

The Sarmada Rehabilitation Centre provides the following services:

Nursing Department: It accepts patients from the Bab Al-Hawa Hospital and referred patient from other hospitals in the north of Syria who need support to recover from their injuries. It provides services to about 200 patients per month.

Physiotherapy Department: It treats trauma and injured patients for physiotherapy sessions and provide sessions for neurogenic injuries patients. An estimated 200 patients per month receive the sessions.

Pathology Laboratory: It is the only laboratory in the north of Syria. It provides pathology services to about 100 patients per month.
