Why Send Your Qurbani to Bangladesh?

The Need is Urgent

Poverty in Bangladesh: 14% of the population in Bangladesh struggles to find their next meal due to poverty. A staggering 15.1% of the population cannot afford the minimum daily diet. The average Bangladeshi consumes meat 30 times less than an average American in an entire year.

Rohingya Refugee Crisis: Around 890,000 Rohingya refugees live in dire conditions in camps in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. Not allowed to work or leave the camps, they rely on the generosity of donors like you. According to the Burma Human Rights Network (BHRN), 93% of refugees report a lack of food, and 50% cite the absence of medical resources.

These refugees are desperately in need of hope. They cannot afford to celebrate Eid like we do. But with your Qurbani, you are giving them the opportunity to experience the joy of Eid by receiving the main dish they long for—the precious meat of Qurbani.

What We’ve Accomplished

Thanks to your continued support, in 2023 we distributed 200 Qurbani, benefitting 10,500 people in Bangladesh and the Rohingya camps. Over the past four years, we have distributed 350 Qurbani and benefited 16,000 people.

This year, with your generosity, we aim to extend this relief to even more families, bringing them hope and sustenance during Eid al-Adha.
