Fifi has just completed her elementary school education with great perseverance and extraordinary determination. Despite the challenges of being an orphan with hearing impairments, she has shown unwavering resolve to continue learning and pursue her future.

However, like many other children, the next step is not easy. As she prepares to continue her education to the next level, Fifi and her mother face significant financial challenges.

Alhamdulillah, thanks to the trust placed in us by our donors, educational assistance has been provided, giving Fifi the strength to continue her schooling without having to drop out.

During our visit, what touched us most was seeing that this child understands there are many people who care about her. Thus, giving up on her education is not an option.

The children travelled from Bekasi with their caregivers to attend the event safely and comfortably. Throughout the day, they shared moments of happiness, broke their fast together, and received Eid gifts and financial support ahead of Eid al-Fitr.

For many of these children, simple moments like sharing a warm meal, receiving a gift, and feeling remembered brought genuine joy and comfort during Ramadan.

LAZ UCare Indonesia delivered your support to Muhammad Yusuf Ibrahim (Baim), a student at Al Alawiyah Junior High School, Bekasi, West Java, Indonesia.

Baim (14) had been struggling with outstanding school fees, while his mother, Ibu Nita, a single parent, relies on an income of around IDR30,000 per day from a small stall. With these limitations, continuing his education was becoming increasingly difficult.

As we enter the second blessed Friday of Ramadan, we want to share how your generosity has touched the lives of the orphans in our Eid Fitr Program - Happiness Ramadhan.

Because of you, this was not just another day. It was a day of dignity, joy, and lasting memories.

Eid Clothing Shopping: The children chose their own Eid outfits, restoring confidence and reminding them they are valued.

Prayer Together: They prayed together, grounding the day in faith and gratitude.

Recreation: Through basketball and interactive games, they built teamwork, motor skills, and joyful memories.

Bookstore Visit: Each child received a World Atlas and stationery to support learning at home.

Eating Together: They shared a meal and meaningful conversations with mentors, strengthening emotional support and connection.

Every child left that day smiling. For them, this program became a cherished memory — one they will carry for years.

And there is something even greater tied to supporting orphans.

Sahl ibn Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

“The one who cares for an orphan and I will be together in Paradise like this,” and he held his index and middle fingers together. (Narrated by Bukhari)

This is not simply charity. It is an opportunity for closeness to the Messenger of Allah in the Hereafter.
