Picture this: You’ve waited in line with your child, hungry after a long walk. This meal is your one sure source of nourishment for the day. You finally receive your plate, but the roti—the simple bread that should be a warm comfort—is cool to the touch.

This is the daily reality at The Noor Project. We feed an average 2,500 people at our Feeding Center everyday. Our cooks work with incredible dedication, hand-making over 6,000 rotis each day. But love and labor can't overcome a simple fact: the first rotis are always cold by the time the last person is served.
