A Complete Tent Village for 100 Families Providing Shelter, Food, Water & Care for Displaced Families in Gaza

In Ramadan, mercy is multiplied.
Through The Mercy Hub, your compassion becomes shelter, nourishment, and hope for Gaza—today and for the future.

Gaza: Relief Under Fire

As Ramadan approaches, the suffering of more than one million displaced people in Gaza has reached a critical breaking point. After years of relentless war and siege, families are living without stability, security, or access to basic necessities. Ramadan—a month meant for reflection, nourishment, and community—arrives for Gaza as a time of profound deprivation.

For families living in makeshift shelters and overcrowded camps, survival has become a daily struggle. In these conditions, mercy is not symbolic—it is essential.

The Crisis

Despite intermittent ceasefires, the humanitarian situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate. Two years of sustained destruction have decimated homes, infrastructure, water systems, and healthcare facilities. Families who once lived with dignity are now displaced, dependent on aid, and exposed to constant uncertainty.

Recent assessments show that the majority of residential areas have been rendered uninhabitable. Overcrowded camps and fragile shelters offer little protection, while access to food, clean water, medical care, and sanitation remains severely restricted due to ongoing blockade conditions.

A Humanitarian Collapse

The collapse of essential services has left entire communities without reliable access to clean water, electricity, healthcare, or adequate shelter. Municipal systems are unable to cope with the scale of displacement, and emergency response capacities remain critically overstretched.

Humanitarian agencies face immense challenges delivering aid at the pace and scale required. As a result, families—especially orphans, widows, newborns, and the elderly—are left facing prolo

nged hardship with limited support.

Living Through War

Approximately 2.5 million people in Gaza are now living through one of the most severe humanitarian crises of modern times. Displacement is no longer temporary—it has become a prolonged reality.

Shelters are overcrowded. Food insecurity is widespread. Clean water is scarce. Children are growing up without stability, education, or safety. Despite the global attention Gaza receives, the needs on the ground remain immense and unmet.

Our Ramadan Appeal: A Call to Humanity

Ramadan is a month where mercy multiplies and generosity transforms lives. At Al Mustafa Welfare Trust (AMWT), we are responding with The Mercy Hub—a comprehensive, dignified humanitarian solution designed to provide both immediate relief and long-term support for displaced families in Gaza.

Your support during Ramadan is more than charity.

It is nourishment for the fasting.
It is shelter for the displaced.
It is dignity for families who have lost everything.

Through your Sadaqah, Zakat, and Ramadan giving, you can become a lifeline for families living through war—turning compassion into action when it is needed most.

Project Justification

  • Extreme Vulnerability of Orphans & Children: Thousands of children have lost one or both parents and now live without consistent care, protection, or access to essentials.
  • Mass Displacement & Inadequate Shelter: Widespread destruction has forced families into temporary shelters that lack safety, privacy, and basic living conditions.
  • Chronic Shortage of Essentials: Food, clean water, hygiene supplies, infant care items, and medical support remain critically limited due to access restrictions.

  • Escalating Public Health Risks: Poor living conditions, malnutrition, and lack of sanitation increase the risk of disease—especially among children, newborns, and the elderly.

Project Objectives

  • Deliver Immediate Ramadan Relief: Provide food, clean water, shelter support, and essential care to displaced families during the blessed month.
  • Support New Life with Dignity: Integrate newborn survival, infant feeding, and mother-and-baby care within the Mercy Hub framework.
  • Restore Stability & Dignity: Establish safe, organised humanitarian hubs that move families away from constant emergency dependence.
  • Strengthen Long-Term Resilience: Lay the foundation for sustainable recovery through structured shelter, health, and family support.
  • Unite Global Solidarity: Ensure the people of Gaza are not forgotten beyond headlines—especially during Ramadan.

Your contribution protects Gaza’s children—the most vulnerable among us—and helps families rebuild dignity amid devastation.

Project Documentation & Transparency

  • Comprehensive Media Reporting: The full implementation will be documented through high-quality photography and video footage to ensure transparency and donor confidence.
  • Donor Recognition & Visibility: Distribution sites will feature donor acknowledgment signage, recognising the generosity of supporters and partners.
  • Detailed Completion Reports: A final report will be shared with donors, including financial transparency, impact metrics, and verified field documentation.
